Víctor Gregory, B.S. Biology (Marine Science Minor), graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, is a co-founder of MARE Society and a lifelong advocate for marine and coastal conservation. As one of the first research members of the university’s Barco Escuela (Scientific Research Vessel) program, he began combining field science with community education early in his career.

Víctor has developed ecosystem protection campaigns and conservation education initiatives across Latin America and in the United States, including work in Puerto Rico, Florida, New York, Utah, and Missouri. He has also participated in research expeditions focused on coral bleaching studies and coral reef fish censuses and surveys throughout the Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands, and the West Indies. Drawing on his scientific training and extensive marketing experience, he has collaborated with agencies and brands to design eco-friendly products and sustainability strategies, helping companies become more environmentally responsible.

Believing that what happens in the mountains directly impacts the coast, Víctor is a strong advocate for the conservation of land, forests, and mountain ecosystems, understanding their vital connection to healthy coastal and marine environments. A passionate activist, educator, and communicator, he works to bridge science, conservation, and the public, inspiring action to protect nature from ridge to reef.
